Effective April 1, 2018, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) will be implementing multiple changes to the flood insurance program which will include Premium Increases and Surcharges, Amendments to Pre-Firm Subsidized and Other Subsidized Policies, Updated pricing for Zones V, A and X.

After the most recent floods in the state of Texas and the unforeseen flood damage from Harvey to Texas areas which were not in the flood zones everyone should consider flood insurance coverage to protect their most valuable assets.
